ECHO TIPS

Tip # 1:
Keep track of online submission times.

Tip # 2:
Always use Google Docs.

Tip # 3:
Use agendas for past days, and finding things that you may need.

Tip #4:
Always count on your technology to fail. This allows you to plan a backup for failure of internet or Echo. If Echo/the internet is down, you can either ask your facilitator for the assignment that you are going to be working on, or you can see if a fellow student has the assignment.

Tip #5:
Be prepared to go to the agenda at the beginning of most classes.

Tip #6:

Always be able to locate the project briefcase. This will allow you to find helpful documents from the teacher(s).

Tip #7:

Finding your grades can show your progress in the class, and can show you the assignments that you may have not completed or turned in.

Tip #8:

Always know how to find the assignments. This allows you to turn in work, without going through the hassle of asking a person where it is. If you know where the assignment is, the less work you have to do.

Tip #9:

Remember that on Echo, you can customize a profile of yourself. Make it about you. Even if nobody reads it, you know that they can find some things out about you, and you can find things out about other people too.

Tip #10:

Read an Agenda Accurately. There are many things that you can look at on an agenda for your classes. These agendas tend to be very helpful, that is when you know how to use them. Often times facilitators use links on agendas to make tasks for the more accessible. Sometimes these links lead to videos, websites, homework submissions.
